Feedback on 2025 draft process: Will Lowe
- In general, entire Board felt draft process went well, no significant issues.
- Will Lowe distributed documents describing process, procedures and supplies used to support draft process and playing games: white boards, team boards, first aid kits, name tags/magnets, etc.
- Will discussed experimenting printing name tags on glossy paper to improve durability, may experiment with tags used for Beers tournament.
- Will is going to electronically forward names to Keith. Keith will experiment with printing tags on various types of paper.
- Will handed Wayne a binder of documented processes and procedures. Board agreed to maintain an electronic file as well.
Runner maintaining contact with base:
- Discussed interpretation and intent of rule for runner to maintain contact with base until there is bat to ball contact.
- It was agreed that the intent of the rule is to prevent runners from getting a “jump start” to the next base before contact and not to prevent runners from stepping off base in-between pitches prior to the next pitch.
- Arnie agreed to amend rule to clarify intent.
Monday Rec League-13 players on a team and possibility of extending season for make-up games: Mike Kirkby and John DiClemente
- A request was brought to the Board to add a 13th player to 1 or more teams.
- The Board agreed that unless a 13th player can be added to all 7 teams, all teams will continue with 12 players. Any further action on this subject will be led by league coordinator and with team managers.
- Tabled discussion on extending season until later date.
Team shirts and sponsor contact information: Keith
- Keith handed out a sponsor contact information template to use for all team sponsors next year.
2026 Leagues registration, draft and start of season schedule: Jack

- Board agreed to amend registration form to add “will you miss extended time”. We currently ask for arrival and departure dates, but it’s recognized that managers should be aware of any anticipated extended absence’s before the draft.
Player Ratings:
- Board agreed there would be no rating changes to team members during league season. Rating changes are allowed to players on Sub list through the league coordinators.
Financial Status – Jack
- Jack presented the BSS Financial report. BSS is in good financial standings.
Next meeting scheduled for Thursday March 6th.
